DONATION (ROTARY CLUB)

Rotary Club is active in tackling important issues such as providing clean water, saving mothers and children, supporting education, eradicating polio etc. R.c.c.v. girls collage is also always ready to fight against social issues and evils. Keeping this thought in mind, R.C.C.V. GIRLS COLLEGE donated an amount of Rs 35000/- to Rotary Club on date 8/8/2019.


KRISHAN GAUSHALA

In Hinduism, the cow is considered a sacred animal and symbolizes wealth, strength, and motherly love.The sheltering of old, abandoned, unproductive, infertile and infirm cows in shelters, referred to as “Gaushalas”The aim of Krishna Gaushala is to Protect (Indian breeds) cows from being slaughtered and to take care of them till the end. The founder of RCCV Girls college Late Shri K.L Chaddhaalong with being a social worker and philanthropist, Chadha ji was also a cow worshipper. To further this pious work, the college donated Rs 31000/- to Krishna “Gaushalas” on 012/09/19.


AWARENESS PROGRAM UNDER LITERACY MISSION

A Literacy Mission was organized in which B.Ed. students taught those children who are not going to school or drop outs. The mission started on international Literacy day. On that day firstly the B.Ed. students and the deprived children were gathered in college. Total 100 candidates were registered and among of them 78 were selected for literacy mission. Students taught these children section wise. First of all section (A) will teach 1/11/2019 and section (B) taught from 15/11/2019. One child was assigned to each student. In this way this mission was continued from 1/11/2019 to 2/12/2019.On the last day of the mission books, copies and stationary were divided among the children, after that Dr. Neetu Chawla (H.O.D) gave her blessing to the children and all the faculty members and students took an oath to continue this mission.
